ABOUT THE HOTEL

Q: Where is located Hotel Vila Micika?
A: Vila Micika is in Dubrovnik area Lapad in Mata Vodopica 10, at 50 meters from the Big Super Market KERUM. Near the Hotel you'll find at a few meters all what you will need: Restaurants, Pizzerias, Bars, Shopping Mall. Villa Micika is vicinity of GRAND HOTEL PARK or between Hotel SUMRATIN and hotel ZAGREB, opposite tennis-courts. For further information and a map click here: Map Dubrovnik

Q: Does the room have private services?
A: Sure, all rooms have: private bath (shower), TV-SAT

Q: Is breakfast included in the price?
A: No, breakfast is not included in the price. Sorry, we do not offer breakfast at the villa. For breakfast you have a couple of restaurants in the immediate vicinity .

Q: Is there air conditioning in the rooms? Is there any extra charge for this?
A: In all rooms there is air conditioning and there is 10 EUR on demand extra charge.

Q: Is heating included in the price?
A: Yes, heating is included in the price.

Q: How many rooms are there in the Villas?
A: The villa has seven rooms and mixed bedroom .

Q: How close is the Villas to the city centre?
A: We are a 40 minutes walk away from the historical centre of Dubrovnik.

Q: Is there a curfew?
A: No.

Q: Which languages are spoken at the reception?
A: We speak English.

Q: Is there a swimming pool?
A: No.

Q: How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
A: In the building there are two floors without an elevator.

Q: Do you have an Internet Point?
A: Yes, it works 24h a day and we has free WIFI internet access.

Q: Where can I buy something for my cleaning or something to eat?
A: At 50 metres there's a supermarket called KERUM .

Q: Do you have maps of Dubrovnik?
A: Yes, Our staff will be happy to provide you with maps of Dubrovnik.

Q: Where can I park the car?
A: Hotel Vila Micika is in the city center and so he has the big problems of all cities: he has not his own parking place. but Hotel Vila Micika has a convention Off -Road parking place where you'll can park the park safety. Parking place is normally free for our Guest

Q: Can we live the car in the parking while we are in Old Town in Dubrovnik?
A: Yes, if you have checked out you can take the car in the evening. Please advice our Reception.

Q: What is check-out time?
A: Check-out time is within 12.00 of departure day.

Q: What if I will be arriving early in the morning?
A: It is not a problem at all. You can leave your luggage at the reception and you can walk the town.

Q: What if I will be arriving late?
A: It is not a problem. We will give you the key and you can enter the room/apartment. We will not charge you for that.

Q: Can I book last minute?
A: Yes - we can even book you in over the phone as you board the plane

Q: Where can I rent a car?
A: In Hotel you'll find information about Rent a Car.

Q: How far away is the beach?
A: Villa Micika is distant 250 m from the beach.

Q: Is the beach private or public?
A: The beach is public.

Q: Do you have International TV news?
A: Yes, we have satellite Television with all Foreign channel

Q: Do you have a laundry service?
A: Yes. The service is not offered directly in Hotel but from a private laundry service.

Q: Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
A: You don't need to bring linens and towels because they are provided.

Q: How can I reserve a room?
A: After sending your Info Request, you will receive in less than 12 hours (generally straight away) an email specifying price and availability. You will receive an Reservation Confirmation email (fax if you prefer) and this will be the only valid proof of your Reservation.

Q: How can I check availability and book?
A: There is an availability calendar for every room. Calendars are updated every day. Booking can be made by filling in the reservation form or by sending us an e-mail.

Q: What about paying in advance?
A: Most renters require paying a deposit. We are trying to make it simpler to our guests. So in most cases we don't require paying in advance.

Q: How do I know the room is booked for me?

A: You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Q: Is the price per room or per person?
A: Yes, the price is per room.

Q: Do I pay a reservation fee?
A: No, we will not charge you a reservation fee.

Q: What methods of payment are accepted?
A: We accept cash payments only. (euro, kuna, dollars, pounds).

Q: Can we settle the bill on arrival?
A: Yes, you can settle the bill at the arrival.

Q: Do I have to re-confirm my booking?
A: It would be nice if you could send us an e-mail several days before your arrival just to make sure that everything is OK.

Q: Do I need a booking confirmation?
A: Yes, always print your booking confirmation and present it at the hotel.

Q: Are there any discounts for groups?
A: Villa Micika provides the best available rates for the dates of your stay. Special discount we often give discounts in low season (November to April). are available for groups, students, organizations, etc. Please contact for further information.

Q: How can I cancel or change my booking?
A: If you are not able to arrive as arranged, please notify us as soon as you know that. We will never charge you a cancellation fee.

Q: If I give you my e-mail address will I receive junk mail?
A: No! Your personal data is only needed for the communication between the reservation office and the house. Your personal data is never given out to third party.


TRANSPORT

Q: How can I get to Old Town?
A: By bus. 150 meters from our Hotel is a bus stop. Every 15 minutes a bus will take you directly to Old Town (Line Babin Kuk - Pile Gate or No.6)

Q: At what time is running last bus from Old Town?
A: In high season at about 03:00 a.m. there’s last bus or in low season last bus is 12..30. a.m.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Bus is a public service and costs (1,10 €).

Q: And Taxi services?
A: No problem. The Hotel staff will call you a taxi (on demand). It will take about few minutes to arrive or you have Dubrovnik On-line Taxi Service 0038520970, or free call 003858001441

Q: Does taxi run during the night?
A: Yes. If you have to leave in the early morning, it's better to book a taxi and to fix the arrival time.

Q: Which is the nearest airport?
A: The nearest airport is Ćilipi Dubrovnik (25 km). Split Airport is 220 km away from Dubrovnik.

Q: Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from/to the airport?
A: Yes if you are arriving by plane, we can organize for your convenience air-conditioned car with private driver which can also take you back upon your departure. For this purpose, you will be kindly requested to timely advise your arrival information, flight number and your mobile phone number on our e-mail chauffeur-services@vilamicika.hr. The price of transfer service is 25 EUR in one direction, payable directly to the driver.

Q: How long does it take to get to Old Town by taxi?
A: 5-10 minutes (during the day)

Q: How long does it take to get to Airport Ćilipi Dubrovnik by taxi?
A: 20-25 minutes (during the day)


DUBROVNIK

Q: Is it safe to walk in Dubrovnik?
A: Sure. Dubrovnik is a calm town. Just pay attention to the public transport.

Q: Is it safe also during the night?
A: Dubrovnik by night is very “romantic”. Normally nothing happens.

Q: I need a tourist guide for myself ?
A: We will make sure you find a guide or you can take in the tourist office near the Villas.
